Icon (Εικών)

An image; a representation.

A representation or picture of a sacred or sanctified Christian personage, traditionally used and venerated in the Greek Orthodox Church.

An important and enduring symbol.

Beyond dictionary definitions, an icon is what we perceive of ourselves, of people we cherish and love,  but also of the precious moments in our life.

Iconic photography is exactly about that; capturing those icons, keeping them alive and vibrant. To make sure we can look back in the years to come, live again the sentiment and pass along the moments to those after us.
